On Thursday 02 jolly 2020 Somali disability people cluster organized public gathering for the disability people to present two issue in the disability people concern of the week. More than one hundred persons from the PWDs organized gathering in public
The first was to share the celebration of the Somali national days the 26 the first day Somalia flag raised in the north Somalia regions, 27 July the independent day for the Djibuti country and the 1 July 1960 the independence for Somalia southern part that made united the two parts of Somalia people
The second issue is to send inquiry message to the Somali government top leaders for the disabled people rights particularly the laws passed, national disability agency and budget which is is passed 31 December 2018 about 20 months, we request from the top leaders to respond the delay . the government operational some other laws passed after the laws of the disability this seems discrimination against the disability people
This public gathering and press statement is took place in several towns in the federal states of Somalia and central government. Jowhar Hirshabele state, Kismanyo Juboland state, Galkacyo Galmdugu state and Mogadishu the federal government of Somalia as parallel.
Somali disability people are requesting the protection and promotion of the rights in the society and demand immediate respond and intervention from the federal government of Somalia Mr. Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo
