On Wednesday 18 Argot 2019 group of Somalia Disabled People activists took meeting with Banadir region local authority where they have submitted the concern and problems faced from access of the public institutions and the movements in the public street where PWds are sometimes subjected intimidation, assault and deliberate prevention of their rights
The meeting took place of the office of the Governor/Mayor Mr. Omar Mohamud Mohamed Benadir Region Local Authority in the headquarter of the Banadir Local authority where the governor and the deputies discussed with PWDs the prevention of all problems facing the disability in the public institutions and local authority
The disability people requested prevention security alert and treat they have in come in the community and the government institutions, the implementation of the CRPD, participation of the humanitarian and development projects for the people of the Benadir region and equal opportunities .
The meeting was very good for the disability thanked to the frankly welcome from the Governor and his deputies for their excuse the negligence and discrimination against the PWDs persons with disabilities. Which the governor motioned unjustifiable that did come from wise people and sense.
