On Friday 23 August 2019 three days book fair event Mogadishu is finalized which started on Wednesday 21 August 2019 in Mogadishu at Sahal Terminal conference hall. The event was the fifth event year held in Mogadishu for the presentation of the books and articles prepared by the local authors
Over five thousands persons mostly youth both male and female majority of the graduate young scholars and professional has participants where jubilant young writers and readers presented their skills and contribution to the community
Hundreds writers including some foreign writers has attended the event where they have presented their publication and books to share with people public. This has encouraged the writers to see the value of their skills and production to the community where some of their books sold on the spot
The high delegates participated include former President of Somalia Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohoumd who is professional university lecturer professor SIMAD university one of the top universities in the country. He said, I am very pleased to participate this event and see continue the six year in the Fifth Mogadishu Book Fair. I am also very happy to see thousands smart faces in the hall, I will encourage you reading and writing as keen skills for all of the people.
Finally the primes minister of Somalia federal government closed the event after long speech to the youth remarking their commitment to participated the development of the country and the works of the government to enable progress in the next ten or twenty years will may witness
