The PWDs persons with disability from the DPOs disabled people organization, activist and member of the NDC took consultation with Somalia federal parliament upper house committee for the justice and human rights in the upper house. Thee meeting was to exchange idea about the content of the national disability authority draft bill which in front of the upper house for the first reading.
The member of the committee and the PWDs persons with disability agree the draft bill to be worked jointly with consultation of the disabled people. The sectary of the committee Senator Ma’ow and Senator Aburkar member of the committee thanked to the PWDs persons with disabilities and promised to make the draft bill supportive for them which pave way for national disability authority
The ministry of the human rights and women development made national disability authority draft bill that passed the cabinet and house people which is now in the first reading for the upper house parliament. If the draft bill is passed after three reading it will go back to the house people and finally the president office to sign as national authority.
