On Tuesday 05 November 2019 Somalia Disabled People cluster organized community outreach and awareness training for the CRPD convention rights persons disabilities in Somalia Mogadishu the capital city of Somalia in Dharkenley district at the Dharkenley Disability People Center where the participant were given lesson for the CRPD and the importance for the PWDs persons with disabilities to know their rights
The participants of the training were both disabled people and non disabled people in the community of the Dharkenley district . the participants learned the value of the disability people and their rights in the population where most of they figure out the elimination of all kinds of discrimination and insulting against the disability people
On Wednesday 06 November Somalia disability people cluster organized other event for CRPD community outreach and awareness session for the blind people in Tredish km13 outside Mogadishu where they have learned the CRPD and the rights of the disability people in Somalia.
The participants of the CRPD training were the blind people in the IDP camps and the villager of the km13 outskirts of Mogadishu where the trainer gave the articles of the CRPD and the advantage of the Somalia ratification and obligation that will come to the Somalia people, civil city and government as well as international community and the donors working humanitarian, development and human rights to make inclusive for all
The tow days training were very inter active that the PWDs and actors of the DPOs the disabled people organizations and members of their families found there is right that PWDs persons with disability can benefit the public and private opportunities and the participation of the political organs the election of the MPDs and president where they can be voter and candidate for election
this is part of CRPD implementation advocacy goal organized SDC Somalia disability cluster with cooperation and support from the UNSOM HRPG the united nation mission somalia human rights protection groups
