UNMAS and SEMA organized two days workshop for the preparation national VA strategy Somalia with cooperation’s of donors and the consultation of the civil society, DPOs, PWDs, Federal state ministries and ministry of the internal security Somalia government.
The workshop was 29- 30 June 2019 where the participants has shared more in the inter active talk and exchange of vies and ideas that will be input for the VA strategy in Somalia for future intervention. With facilitation of high expert for the VA Mr. Feruz Ali Afghan national double amputee who share more with Somalia disability people
This came in the result of the national disability analyst report made last year UNMAS with data collection from the most Somalia regions from the DPOs, PWDs, service delivery facilities and IDP camps which raised the importance the draft strategy for future interventions
Member DPOs and PWDs in the two day workshop thanked to the organizers and facilitators with hope voluble strategy for the VA and disability people condition in Somalia that will help partnership and support the disability people and their institutions
