Somalia national federal journalism conference opened in Mogadishu yesterday at the City Palace Hotel VIP meeting Hall is in the second day . the meeting will go two days participated by the federal states journalism ministries and representative and local media and international delegates and ambassadors.
the meeting was opened by the ministry of the media and tourism Mr. Mohamed Hayir Mareye, deputy ministry Mr. Abdullahi Olad Roble and other representing regional media and journalism institutions.
this is the first federal journalism meeting where the participants ahs discussed formulation of national policy for the media that can be common and joint work for all media operating in the country.
the ministry said we are in position to make single unified national policy for Somalia journalism in the near future. where we can share the development and the gap with international and local stakeholders .
