Somali National Teachers’ day 21 November is commemorated in Mogadishu high ceremony organized USTAD Union Somali Teacher Advocacy and Development organization providing human rights protection and promotion of skills, education and health care for the teachers in Somalia

21 November is unique day for the Somali teachers which unifies, values and protects the rights of the teachers in the country who had had good right in the before the wars in Somalia. USTAD is standing to regain the dignity and the role of the teachers in the society.

opinions and ideas exchanged among the participants who most of the where young teachers in the primary and secondary school in the country has tossed of their ordeal live as a teacher professional in Somalia where they are marginalized, humiliated and some time manipulated  the salary and payment by the some of the manger and the owners of the schools and universities in the country.

we would be glad such this union said Mr. Abdullahi teacher who served some regions in the country including Puntland as teacher. if we make powerful network will be enough strong to protect our rights.

Mr. Dayah Mohamed Ali speaking lastly said i am really glad to get information from our discussion and we all agree that teachers merchandise  natural good that could not be produced from machine and farm. and the teacher work long hours standing and explaining lessons with loud speech to could be heard the office of the school administration.

i really glad to finalize our ceremony with certificates for ten persons trained USATD as  new teachers graduated from secondary schools and university to be new teacher. these group has finalized teachers capacity building training where they learnt requirement of a teacher, role of the teacher in the class, class and curriculum management. conflict resolution students and the corundum
