Three days CRPD community outreach for the deaf people

Somalia disability cluster organized massive community outreach for the CRPD the convention rights person’s disabilities in the country. For the training and awareness of the families, parents, friends and people in the villages in Mogadishu. For groups of people who are responsible the deaf people mainly the students of the deaf schools



On Monday 28 October 2019 Yaqshid Deaf school organized event for 30 persons from the parent of the deaf  student in the school where they have been given training for the CRPD articles and that Somalia has signed. The parents thanked to the school manger who organized the event and promised the commitment to take care the CRPD


On Tuesday  29 October 2019 Hodan Deaf school organized event for 50 persons from the parent of the deaf student in the school where they have been given training for the CRPD articles and that Somalia has signed. The parents thanked to the school manger who organized the event and promised the commitment to take care the CRPD

On Wednesday   30  October 2019 Madina  Deaf school organized event for 30 persons from the parent of the deaf student in the school where they have been given training for the CRPD articles and that Somalia has signed. The parents thanked to the school manger who organized the event and promised the commitment to take care the CRPD.

With coordination of the  Somalia Disability cluster and the support of the UNSOM human right section the first chapter of the mass CRPD training is finalized with participation of the more than one hundreds persons bonfires from three different deaf schools in three different districted in Mogadishu Benadir  religion local authority. .
