On Sunday 09 June 2019 A groups of Somalia PWDs persons with disabilities and DPOs disabled people organizations hold consultation meeting in Mogadishu for the implementation of the CRPD Convention Rights persons With Disabilities in Somalia where the federal government has signed the convention October 2018 and ratified may 2019 which makes Somalia full member of the state that signed and passed convetion
The Persons with disabilities discussed the two laws passed the government for the PWDs in the last two years 2018 and 2019 which is creating hope for the PWDs to get national disability agency which is mandated the distribution of all the basic needs and the developments for the PWDs in Somalia. The PWDs Persons With Disabilities are very much proud to the Federal government of Somalia for the brave endeavor to pass the CRPD that will give the universal rights and equal opporunties with international PWDs and DPOs
Complaining the Delay of the National Disability Agency. The PWDs took consultation meetings with ministry of the human rights for the process of the nomination the key five actors of the National Disability Agency selected among the disabled people rights activist particularly graduate and scholars as well as well experienced who may contribute the care and development of the PWDs in Somalia

1- To thank the government for the appreciation and the start of the PWDs support and pass laws.
2- Take Action to Start immediately the Process of the Nomination for the five Key Leaders of the National Disability Agency with Consultation of the PWDs and DPOs actors
3- Take Action for the Implementation of the CRPD obligations the national disability act, Policy and Affirmative action plans which all are important the conventions
Mr. Abdullahi Hussen Osman the chairperson of the ( IEDP Center ) peaking said, we have to think critical for the best way to gain the ownership and guide the National Disability Agency. We have rights to do so, but this need a lot of hard work and campaigns among the people and government.
Mss. Amina Mohamed Dhurow the chairperson of the ( CBR Somalia Network ) speaking said, we thanks to the government and particular the ministry of the human rights and women development for her role and contribution to the development of the PWDs in Somalia. We also urge to her to have close cooperation with PWDs and DPOs who are potential support here the nomination of the key five persons for the national disability agency.
Mr. Abdullahi Hassan Hussein the chairperson of the ( Somali Disability Cluster ) speaking said, National Disability agency is established for the PWDs and should be given right and role to chose people the five top leaders of the agency for people suitable the lead. We also very sorry the long time delay the process for nomination, we demand the ownership of the agency otherwise it should be dismissed and de-marked the disability name.
Mr. Ali Abdulahi Salad Chairperson of the ( National Disability Agency ) said we all come to reach one point no matter the difference for the issue of the Agency, I call to the Ministry of Human rights And women Mrs. Deko Yasin to take an action for the process of the nomination the heads and members of the national disability agency.
Finally, Somalia is one of the members states signed the CRPD with more obligation to engage the PWDs and DPOs for the care, development and participation of the decision making tables and organs, in order yield inclusive for and equal opportunism in Somalia. PWDs and DPOs served three decades of hardship caused by the civil wars and disaster experienced that made the PWDs more vulnerable to suffer more than any other groups in the community without the support of the public and private infrastructure and services
