On Tuesday 05 March 2019 in Mogadishu the Somali national women organization hold conference in Mogadishu for the national organization and women groups member of the organization. The meeting was held in the Somali national women organization headquarter near the Villa Somalia in Hamarweyne district
In the press statement made the national women organization in Mogadishu today Mrs. Madina Mohamed Warsame the deputy chairperson of the organization said we oppose the so called national women conference organized the ministry of the human rights and women development started in Mogadishu 03- 65 at Royal Palace hotel invited Diaspora women groups spending huge money aimlessly
Mrs. Madina Mohamed Warsame said the ministry has neglected national women activist who made struggle to empower the women and participate the national disasters supporting the people mainly the women and children in the emergency time the droughts, wars and flood that devastated hundred women in the last years.
I am sending the women groups to wake up and united for the problems against our people and children who are dying in the world. We thank our government for the work and beg Alah to give power to development the people.
The minister Deko Yasin was working NGO the time we where working with our money, resources and venture of our lives for the advocacy and empowerment of the gender in Somalia. We will not accept the division of the women groups and disability people under your authority
We are sending our message to the Somalia federal government, the house of the people, upper house, the prime minister and the Somalia president to take the justice for all. And stop power abuse against the civilian women organizations
The ministry of the human rights and women is presiding Somalia national women conference 3- 6 March 2019 that was opened two days ago in Mogadishu at Royal place hotel the first lady of Somalia Mrs. Seynab who thanked the respected participants of the conference both female and male with their respected titles and status of the participations
