on Thursday 20 September 2018 the federal government of Somalia cabinet accepted sighed the united nation convention rights persons with disabilities. high delegates from the Somalia federal government will fly to the new York the headquarter of the united nation in the next days where the minister of the human rights and women will sign the CRPWDs convention rights persons with disabilities in this week.
this will be victory for the Somalia PWDs persons with disability who will get national and international rights from the government and international donors to participate the development and humanitarian aid and support. Somalia PWDs has been without role and rights the local and international donors and partners
from the date official signed and ratified there will obligation to be fulfilled in the country where the national decision making organs and tables should be inclusive where PWDs and DPOs will have representation and participation. similarly the international donors will take responsibility to insure their programs and project to be inclsuive.
Abdullahi Hassan the chair persons of the Somalia disabled people clutter SDPC said we the disabled people rights activists has been problems with national and international decision making tables and organs. where there has not been an obligations forcing the national and international organs and institutions. we feel to be dignified with equal rights the other people.
the PWDs persons with disabilities thanks to the ministry of the human rights and women Mrs. Deko Yasin her active role the signature and ratification of the CRPWDs and the national disability agency bill which is in the Parliament for reading.
