on Tuesday 11 September 2018 Somalia federal government of cabinet sub committee for the social has meeting to discuss poverty reduction plan prepared the ministry labor and employment where the plan was presented for the ministries in the session. the plan was tailored poverty reduction through reestablishment of social service for the community. they key points raised include strengthening education as deputy ministry of education Mr. Abdirhaman Mohamoud has propossed the role of the ministry in the plan said we have to work the stakeholders for the social development the education and the donors with same goal and vision.
the ministry of the labor and employment Mr. Salaha the lead of the committee and plan has made detail for the plan to the participants where he has defined the role of the each ministry as well as the role of the international donors for the fight against poverty in the country.
Somalia is one of the countries in the world with high poverty caused by the conflicts that destroyed the economic and stability which is key for the development of the society. the country national youth statistics showed more than 75% youth with highest unemployment in the world more than 91% making life vert hard.
