the speaker of the Somali parliament house of the people Mr. Mohamed Mursal officially announced the date of the opening the sessions of the parliament. the speaker through media said the forth session of the tenth parliament house of the people will be opened the 10 September 2018 so that MPs should present and the MPs outside should return back the country 5 September 2018 to resume our works.
the house of people consists of 275 mps representing whole Somalia except the PWDs Persons with disabilities who has not any representation role of the Somalia federal government. some of the MPs went outside the country to visit their families and relative while some other MPs travel to the regions for their home towns and constituencies
similarly the forth session of the first Upper house will be opened with same date 10 September where all MPs in the house representatives should be ready for the participation of the parliamentary works and sessions. the upper house consists of 54 member MPs with speaker and two deputes which is similar exclusion the PWDs representation.
Somalia has bicameral parliament which is working in two separate building with separate regulations put working commons national federal constitutional mandates.
