Public hearing for disabled people rights bill hearing is held in Mogadishu the event is organized by the Somalia Parliament committee for human rights and funded by the SSG Strengthening Somalia governance program Chemonics USAID supporting legal and law program in Somalia.
The PWDS persons with disabilities from DPOs disabled people organizations, activists and law professional participated the event where four team speak to the issue for the disabled people rights bill and law. The topic was the rights of the disabled or formation new bill or adjusting the existing bill available funded before SGG
The PWDs persons with disabilities raised their concern for lack of national bill for the disabled people officially passes the government and working as law protecting the PWDs persons with disabilities. The disabled people demanded from the parliament committee for human rights to insure the rights of the persons with disabilities.
