high delegates from the ministry of the interior and reconciliation the federal government paid visit to the Middle Sahbelle region as part of efforts the ministry efforts to make national level reconciliation and formation of joint work program in the grass roots levels from the regions.
the deputy minister and the ministry of interior Mr. Abdullahi Farah Wheliye has spoken to the people in public gathering to share with them more bout the peace, security, policy and developmental works in the region.
the minister speaking said we are working to make united community in the regions from the grass roots levels as part of Wadajir program where the people will have the rights represent themselves or elect the persons they want lead them unlikely nomination from the federal government. the delegates visited some districts in the region like Warshikh and Balcad
Middle shabelle region is one of the resource full regions in the country that has sea and fertilized land with river good for farming and fishing havocked by civil wars which is now going in the region between tribes. the government is trying to end the hostility between the people in the region and give full freedom for the community decision making
