High meeting for the security council in the new York made expansion for the UNSOM operational mandate to Somalia. The UN has discussed more about Somali security, political changes and humanitarian in the country.
The security council has also discussed the role of the federal government for the peace and stability in the country where free election was supposed on the way 2016. The UN has also discussed about the AU operations in the country which is one of the most burdensome operations in the world
