The PWDs people with disabilities and DPOs disabled people organization held commemoration ceremony in Mogadishu at Ramaada Hotel participated one persons mostly form the PWDs and DPOs and member of their families and the civil society member who has made their contribution there in the cermoney.<\/p>\n

Opening: Abdikahim Abukar Haji introduction of the Somalia PWDs and DPOs and the international day of the persons with disabilities and the role of the disabled people in this event organized by HADF with other partners;<\/p>\n

Mr. Foodeey member of the visual impaired society deeply narrated the overall PWDs and the Braille language story. He said a carpenter man working repair of his home with support of his son where wound with Niles fallen has hit the young boy in the eyes where he become blind. The victim demanded to get the two nails that made him blind which he has been holding in the boket for long time. It was a day sting on table they blind young repeatedly hit the nails with paper and document of his father, where the father angrily said you spoiled my papers and the young boy toss of with loud voice it get. The father said what? The young boy touch the pointed dots on the paper its words that can be read by the blind people. The military has been using the Braille language as code of secret as communication. The Braille came from that young boy.<\/p>\n

Mr. Mohamed Ali Faran chairperson of the SODEN said i am really very happy to see PWDs haply presented their instructions and knowledge. The first time this day was introduced was 1992 when the UN has announced official and international day for the PWDs and DPOs where they may exchange their views, complaints and inspirational .<\/p>\n

Research we are making the top school of more 6 regions in the country to present the number of persons with disabilities in the education primary, secondary and high education.<\/p>\n

Awziidoow from Wanlaweyn Human rights organization said much is said here and you know more than us. What i want say is make cooperation all of your DPOs and PWds as one group so you can make change in the human rights<\/p>\n

\"3<\/a><\/p>\n

Mr. Aden Hassan Ali the chairperson of the RADO said the last five years PWDs and DPOs has been making progress that came from them selves. There is change that we can invent and initiate work, event and project to raise awareness and development for the PWDs. We are very sorry that we are small in the education. Even our children are small in the school. Me i have 9 children, only one managed to graduate from the university. If i could i would made all of the scholars.<\/p>\n

Deaf persons speaking to the people said i am very happy to see like this large gathering of the all parts of the PWDs people with disabilities including the deaf. We are happy getting united among us. We deaf persons sadly feel discriminated in the public by our society. I have graduated from secondary school and can do more work where i was refused only with my deafness<\/p>\n

As deaf person i can be worker, merchant, father, manager, police office, parliamentarian, minister and president if other people left the barriers from deaf persons like me. We have educated young grills and boy in here this ceremony today. Today is historic day where i am unleashing my inspiration in front of more people which has happen for me and other deaf persons like me before. I thank the HADF network that i am expecting to be member of the future leaders.<\/p>\n

Hopline organization member participating the event said to day is good day for more people i know, in Somalia i didnot though such this event is possible. As human rights worker the last two month of the year are top human rights days, we hopline are preparing to held event in Mekra the 10 decmber 2015 for the international human rights day. We really thanks your work as PWDs and DPOs in Somalia. We promise againt our cooperation and support for all issue of human rights.<\/p>\n

Mr. Asho women disabled rights activist said reality today is more different than other days. Where we used to be more sacred to speak about our rights and some times feel shamed to stand in front of large people and say i am PWDs persons with disability requesting his\/her rights from the people, government and international community.<\/p>\n

As Women with disability matter more different and difficulty to make challenge in the society for you rights. I am really glad that we have broken the class in front of us. I demand inclusion for all as the theme of this year is.<\/p>\n

Mr. Ysusuf Shiikh Ali from Alnur blind school said our efforts had made glimpse of hope. There has been only gathering that is organised by other for to demand food and money. Our rights is more than food and money. The more we struggle we can be near the success.<\/p>\n

Mr. Abdullahi Hussein Osman from IEDp centre said i really very glad to see large persons with disability cheerfully in Hotel to say more about their rights through media. We are dignified persons like others. We can accept humiliation from others. Both civil society, government and international community should hear us. The best army for person is awareness we know whom we are and how we can achieve the goal.<\/p>\n

Mr. Ahmed Hassan from SAB said i can really acknowledge the way we are going is to the success. Jointly working all parts of the DPOs has really made strong and will participate in the civil society. Every one of can represent for other in the issue of PWDs and DPOs.<\/p>\n

Mr. Abdullah Hassan Hussen the chairperson of the HADF Horn Africa Disability forum said reality i am very much happy happier to day than more other days and events. Today is more different where we had the chance to say our complainants and inspirations. Thanks all of this network is open for all DPOs, PWDs and civil society with contribution of our gaol mainstreaming disability all parts of the life in Somalia.<\/p>\n

Apart from that to day there other ceremonies in other places like Guriel, Adado and Dolow where member DPOs in the HADf has organized small ceremonies to raise the voice of the PWDs and DPOs in the regions. We thank all who has contributed to this event. I hope to meet all of us the next 3 December 2016 with better live, prosperity, dignity, unity and participation of public and privet work in thecountry as well as the decision making organs and leadership.<\/p>\n
