Where most the participants\npresented their works in the year 2020. \u00a0<\/span>\n\nSome of the participants raised question for the Somalia donors and civil society\ngrant management and partnership discrimination against the PWDs persons with disabilities\nand the DPOs the disabled people organizations. Mainly the human rights, humanitarian,\nlivelihood and development in the country funded by the international donors\n\nThe cluster send message to the all stakeholders of the social, economic,\ndevelopment\nand political in Somalia to insure the implementation of the CRPD in the role\nthe decision making time and tables. \u00a0<\/span>\u00a0And equal opportunity for the donors\npartnership civil society in Somalia.\n\nSomalia joined the CRPD member state the year 2019 after signature and ratification\nof the treaty in the country. Which is putting \u00a0<\/span>obligations to the donors, civil society federal\nstates and federal government of Somalia activities and work to be inclusive\nfor all participating the PWDs and the DPOs\n\nSome members of the cluster mentioned the programs and projects implemented\nin the last 12 months of the year 2020. Mostly the fallowing.\n

1.\n<\/span><\/span>advocacy for education and employment,<\/p>\n\n

2.\n<\/span><\/span>advocacy for legislation and laws and act,<\/p>\n\n

3.\n<\/span><\/span>participation election draft bill<\/p>\n\n

4.\n<\/span><\/span>organize demonstration for the implementation of the\nnational disability agency<\/p>\n\n

5.\n<\/span><\/span>participation of public talks for the disability rights<\/p>\n\n

6.\n<\/span><\/span>participation of public hearing for budget management<\/p>\n\n

7.\n<\/span><\/span>training workshop for empowerment the PWDs and the\nDPOs,<\/p>\n\n

8.\n<\/span><\/span>awareness and outreach for the covid19<\/p>\n\n

9.\n<\/span><\/span>strengthening the DPOs and establishment of network for\nthe disability people<\/p>\n\n

10.\n<\/span><\/span>celebration IDPD international disabled people day<\/p>\n\n

11.\n<\/span><\/span>mobilization of the Paralympics games for PWDs teams<\/p>\nThe cluster encourage members of the DPOs the disabled people organizations\nstand\nactive position in the civil society and political in the country for the\ninterest\nof the nationwide Somali disability people who are more than 2.5 million as\nestimated\n.\n\n\n\nThe cluster send the last message to the Somali federal government organs the\nexecution the cabinet, the legislation and the president of the country HE Mohamed\nAbdullahi\u00a0 Farmajo insure the finalization of the national disability\nagency\u00a0 with consultation\nof the disability people, DPOs disabled people organizations and scholars\n\n\n\nMembers in the meeting of the cluster underlined that the PWDs persons with\ndisability feel discriminated and manipulated their rights by the ministry of\nthe women and human rights who has not consulted with disability people so far\nthe budge expenditure for the disability.\n\n\n\nThere is one single concern from disability people scholars, activists and the\nDPOs the nomination of the 5 key leaders of the national disability agency\nexcluded from the educated young disability people who have made progress in\nthe education and prepared the leadership for the disability people.\n\n\n\nFinally the group issued\n\n\n

1.\n<\/span><\/span>Insure inclusive for all\u00a0 social and policy in the\ncountry<\/p>\n\n

2.\n<\/span><\/span>Insure the establishment active legislation and laws\nprotecting the PWDs<\/p>\n\n

3.\n<\/span><\/span>Insure inclusive for all public and private\nopportunities\nin the country for PWDs and DPOs<\/p>\n\n

4.\n<\/span><\/span>Insure donors and civil society partnership to be\ninclusive\nfor all where DPOs<\/p>\n\n

5.\n<\/span><\/span>Insure national disability policy which is serving the\ninterest\nof the disability people.<\/p>\n\n

6.\n<\/span><\/span>Insure the implementation of the CRPD in the country<\/p>\n\n

7.\n<\/span><\/span>Insure the recreation and the Paralympics sport in the\ncountry\n<\/p>\n\n
