{"id":5727,"date":"2020-07-02T22:38:33","date_gmt":"2020-07-02T19:38:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/somalionlinemedia.com\/?p=5727"},"modified":"2026-04-16T11:38:42","modified_gmt":"2026-04-16T11:38:42","slug":"public-gathering-and-press-statement-from-the-disability-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/faafitv.com\/?p=5727","title":{"rendered":"Public Gathering and Press Statement from the Disability people"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/somalionlinemedia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Somali-Disability-People-Press-Statment.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5728\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On Thursday 02 jolly 2020 Somali\ndisability people cluster organized&nbsp;\npublic gathering for the disability people to present two issue in the disability\npeople concern of the week. &nbsp;More than\none hundred persons from the PWDs organized gathering in public <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first was to share the celebration\nof the Somali national days the 26 the first day Somalia flag raised in the\nnorth Somalia regions, 27 July the independent day for the Djibuti country and\nthe 1 July 1960 the independence for Somalia southern part that made united the\ntwo parts of Somalia people &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second issue is to send inquiry message to the Somali government top leaders for the disabled people rights particularly the laws passed, national disability agency and budget which is&nbsp; is passed 31 December 2018 about 20 months, we request from the top leaders to respond the delay .  the government operational some other laws passed after the laws of the disability this seems discrimination against the disability people <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This public gathering and press statement\nis took place in several towns &nbsp;in\nthe&nbsp; federal states of Somalia and central\ngovernment. &nbsp;Jowhar Hirshabele state,\nKismanyo Juboland state, Galkacyo Galmdugu &nbsp;state and Mogadishu the federal government of Somalia\nas parallel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Somali disability people are requesting the protection and promotion of the rights in the society&nbsp;
