Somalia Person with disabilities participated  technical working groups in Somalia for the humanitarian\nin the country participated by groups of \nlocal and international organization based in the country and outside\nthe country with their partners the donors country level and UN agencies <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The TWG online workshop  was to address the gap of the humanitarian and\ndevelopment work in Somalia caused the covid19. The workshop was data\ncollection for the preparation  of the\n2020 strategy for the TWG in Somalia. Regarding the changes that came the situation\non the ground for the pandemic disease and the lockout for the public and\nprivate works in the country <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two day survey workshop is participated by group of DPOs\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE CONTRIBUTION FROM\nTHE PWDS AND DPOS IN SOMALIA<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Findings <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Lack of participation the national and international\nstrategic working groups and teams <\/li>
  2. Lack of participation the humanitarian and\ndevelopment the disability <\/li>
  3. Lack of information sharing the national and\ninternational donors works in the country <\/li>
  4. Lack of census and statistics the disability people\nand their families <\/li>
  5. Lack of joint work and participation for the\nCRPD and MDG2030  in Somalia <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Recommendation <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. TWG membership for the DPOs disabled people\norganizations and establish DPOs tusk forces and  for humanitarian and development coordination\nmechanism capacity building for DPOs  and\nall humanitarian working groups in the ground  <\/li>
    2. Insure inclusive for humanitarian development participation\n of the PWDs and DPOS<\/li>
    3. Active engagement for the information sharing with\naccessibility technology and materials  <\/li>
    4. Getting national census for  data collection the   people in the country  Mogadishu and other regions  to get the demographics <\/li>
    5. Insure the implementation  CRPD ratified Somalia government and MDG2030  the international community, civil society and\ngovernment  which is now exclusive <\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
