On Sunday 05 April 2020\u00a0 the disabled people took meeting with director of the ministry of the human rain and managing the disaster in the country. The meeting\u00a0 was organised by the disabled people activists and the members of the Somalia disability cluster and the \u00a0national disability council who\u00a0 informed the director general of the ministry of humanitarian the problems faced the disabled people in the country this time<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the DPOs Disabled People Organization complained to the minister exclusive humanitarian work and project in the country where hundreds millions for the humanitarian and development are funded with hundreds local partners NGOs and CBOs that neither of them are DPOs disabled people organizations. mainly OCHA, and other donors supporting Somalia civil society <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The burden of the Covidr 19 restrictions has worsened the situation of the PWds persons with disabilities who most of the were\u00a0 daily work wages,\u00a0 beggars in the market, \u00a0dependent of family care and humanitarian aid from the charitable individuals, groups, companies and NGO based in the country <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The holly Ramadan Moth is heading soon where the PWDs will need support from the charitable\u00a0 groups and the aid agencies based in the country. The need for the disability who are more than 20% in the society that need support and food commodity aid for the holly Ramadan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The emergency support for \u00a0the covid 19 protection material the\u00a0 mask for face, the gloves for the hands \u00a0cover and the hand wash \u00a0for the protection of the disability people who may be vulnerable to the disease. Most of them unable to pay the necessary required materials for the prevention of the disease in the community <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The director General of the Minister  humanitarian  Mr. Muktar Sheikh Hussein thanked to the participants\nof the meeting and said  the minster\nstands for the support of the vulnerable in the society. And today I we are\nproad to welcome you in our office, we took the responsibility of the all you\nhave asked. And with collaboration the minister of the ministry Mr. Hamsa\nSiciid Hamsa we will make plane that the minster can give  the disability people emergency aid for the\npeople affected the covid 19 prevention  restrictions\n imposed the country <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We the cooperation of the ministry partners we will try to respond most of the needs and problems raised in the meeting. I am broad and confident that the minister of the ministry Mr. Hamsa will do his best for the solution of the Somalia disability people problems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
