on Thursday 04 April 2019 The international day of the mine action and VA the victim assistance \u00a004 April 2019 \u00a0organized by the \u00a0Somalia DPOs, UNMAS \u00a0and the SEMA participated both local and international interesting the elimination of mine awareness and explosion in the country and\u00a0 Somalia federal government members <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The speaker of the event were the EU, DFID, UNMAS,  federal state ministry , Benedir local authority\nand DPOs disabled people organization. Who all made their concerns for the elimination\nof  the all mine and bombs causing the\ndeath, wounds and the destruction of property in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNMAS presented survey made the victim assistance report\n2019 covered most Somalia regions in the country,  demonstrating the scale of the VA in Somalia.\nAnd the long time without intervention the key pillar for the mine action works\nin the <\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNMAS mine action works is training, collection, destruction\nof mine and ammunitions and the VA victim assistance supporting the people damaged\nby the weapons\u2019 and the mine in the world <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Somali DPOs members express their concern the massive prevalence\nof the mine, ERW and bombs in the country causing the death and wounds of more\npeople.  With result of the more =\ndisability people. Where there is no strategy for prevention and care. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

SEMA director Mr. Hoshow \u00a0closed the event \u00a0with message to start action for the VA in Somalia with cooperation of the local and international as well as Somali federal states and federal government. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
