on Saturday 15 February 2019 highly organized conference for the deaf rights and role in the community and the decision making organs in somalia is held in mogadishu at Jazira Placa Hotel. organized the SHF Silent Horn Foundation organization UK based Deaf Activist non profit Organization <\/p>\n\n\n\n

the event is participated by more than 30 persons from the deaf society teachers, students, blind people, physical disability, civil society and members of the somali federal government MP, Ambassadors and members of the ministry of health and education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

the participants has present the rights and the role of the PWds persons with disabilities in general particularly the deaf people who have rights in the community from the families, civil society, and government <\/p>\n\n\n\n

the meeting is opned Mrs. Sahra and Mrs. Lula professional sign language from the UK and USA who are experts <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Muse member of the deaf school administration, SFH said we deaf have common problems in the society parents beat the children, solders open fire, school are not allowed and the national exam and employment system is discriminating the deaf people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abdirahman Lunge director of Villa Somalia disability office said we have wake to advocate for the deaf people like the disability and blind. speaking form the national laws he said national disability agency ;law passed the parliament and the president initiated the ministry of the women and human rights is over. the CRPWDs singing somalia. we will work acting and other policies to follow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sheikh Ali Wajis religous adviser President of somalia thanked all participants disabled people, rspected gusts, members of ministerial direcotrs, the MP, former Deputy Prime minister and ministry Mr. Arab<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Ogle disability deaf unit officer Ministry of Health and other SNE Special Need Education officers Ministry of education thanked the participants and told them they will work both deaf, blind and disability in the community <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ali Abdulahi lead the disability council said we thanks your work and want your help for the deaf people and disability we can work with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director of the Village somalia office disability affairs said thanks all of you and i hope there some well known president and high profile disability people served in the world. i also say that there is no sign language in somalia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

MP house of the people Mr. Arab thanked all groups and said i am here for you to work the protection of disability people. i heard the painful problems agaisnt the deaf people. i will try to put it in front of the Parlaiment and propose law that can protect. the world and in somalia law is the best tool to protect the rights<\/p>\n\n\n\n
