national disability authority bill is initiated and drafted by the ministry of\u00a0 human rights and women development passed \u00a0the federal government cabinet meeting on Thursday \u00a018 July 2018. which has get the support of the federal government who met members of the PWDs\u00a0 persons with disabilities and the ministry of the human rights and women development Ms. Deko Yasin<\/p>\n
the federal\u00a0 parliament, \u00a0house of the people committees has been disputing the lead committee and ministry of the bill.\u00a0 the ministry of labor and the ministry of human rights women claiming the legality and ownership\u00a0 of the bill.<\/p>\n
the ministry of social and labor has passed national disability policy 2015 in the federal government of Somalia cabinet presided by Mr. Omar Abdirashid and the government of the Mr. Hassan Sheikh.\u00a0 a policy draft that lacked the consultation and cooperation of the persons with disabilities.<\/p>\n
Somalia persons with disabilities are more than 15%\u00a0 who\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 are suffering in culturally oriented society where there is mass discrimination again the PWDs\u00a0 in the community.\u00a0 DPOs disabled people organizations\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0who came with vision and contribution of the PWDs realized the initiation of service for the PWDs care, shelter, education, employment and human rights advocacy .<\/p>\n
