Training workshop and consultation for the elections\u00a0 for the Somalia in the next election the 2020 is held in Mogadishu for the groups\u00a0 of PWDs persons with disabilities and the DPOs disabled people organization in Hotel Jazira.<\/p>\n

The training is organized by the EISA through build project which serving Somalia lections and voting works coordination and capacity building for the civil society. EISA team has presented and interactive discussion among the PWDs persons with disabilities activists and the head of the DPOs operating\u00a0 in the country mostly the Benedir region Mogadishu the capital city of Somalia.<\/p>\n

The training starts with registration the participants, introduction for the members in the hall name, institution and role for the both beneficiaries and EISA team. Where the parts exchanged vies and ideas about the elections and voting.<\/p>\n

EISA team started introduction of the EISA organizational\u00a0 works and service in the country and in the world. \u00a0The introduction of the Build project is also presented by the facilitator of the workshop. With translation of the translator standing.<\/p>\n

The session stop\u00a0 for few munities for break the \u00a0refreshment \u00a0for the participants where the session \u00a0start less than an hour as agreed.<\/p>\n

The sessions re-start\u00a0 with presentation of the elections and the role of the activists local and international, the role of the DPOs in Somalia for the next election and voting.\u00a0 The story of elections in other places as comparative analysis. The failures and the success of election in the past for several Africa states.<\/p>\n

Interactive debate with participation of the participants started where the PWDs persons with disabilities released tens question to the facilitators who were respond the question. And the initiations of the new contribution to the program and gape for intervention. W<\/p>\n

The PWDs has made questions about\u00a0 how they may play greater role the next election in Somalia. The way and the means to use for participation. The facilitator suggested to the participants to join the political parts quick to manage their resource and put in one way where they may have claims and demands from the potential candidates of the parliamentary and presidential elections.<\/p>\n

Some of the participants asked the facilitators if there is support for the establishment political parts for the disabled people that will represent them.\u00a0 Or the international community and the Somalia constitutional reform committee ad new articles the\u00a0 federal provisional constitution with articles\u00a0 highlighting \u00a0the role of the PWDs persons with disabilities the political participation possibly MPs members of the parliamentary and ministry portfolio for the PWDs persons with disabilities.<\/p>\n

The facilitaros closed the session with thanks to the participants and promised other session to further the civic engagements and the role of the PWDs persons with disabilities for the build project.<\/p>\n
